Hotpot!

For our New Year's Eve in the building, we had fondue (cheese and chocolate) as well as hotpot. There were a lot of things left from hotpot and about 10 of us gathered int he common house to just have hotpot leftovers. It's one of my favorite parts of cohousing -- when a selection of households come together for a bit of a random meal. Everyone brings down whatever they have in the house that might work: a couple of people made broth; some people brought some extra veg or dumplings; and voila! Amazing hotpot.

There was also leftover chocolate from the chocolate fondue so we reheated that. Someone brought down some fruit and it was delicious.

That sounds amazing. Cohousing is something I would absolutely love to do at some point in my life, but is hard around here... we don't have a lot of mass transit accessible options, unfortunately.

Happy New Year!
